Sitex

With 2,400 employees at 9 locations, „Sitex-Textile Dienstleistungen Simeonsbetriebe GmbH“ is a heavyweight in the textile cleaning industry. Founded in 1947 in Minden as a hospital central laundry, the company now handles the entire textile logistics for major customers such as Berlin’s Charité hospital.
However, like many other service providers, Sitex suffers from high staff turnover. The largely semi-skilled workers leave the company, partly for personal reasons and partly because the 3-shift operation is too strenuous for them, often after a short time. Sitex is a respectable employer. It is a value-driven family business, pays decent wages, attaches great importance to employee retention, finances language courses and even has physiotherapists visit the factories once a week to treat postural problems at an early stage.
In order to meet the continuing high recruitment demand, Sitex is in the process of setting up a new careers page that highlights these values more clearly. To this end, I organized a photo shoot and created a series of videos in which the employees have their say in order to capture the great team spirit.
Thanks to the fantastic photographer Moritz Peters for his great work.
