The film on the video wall at Ku’damm

Germany in winter 2021: the coronavirus has had the country firmly in its grip for over a year. One wave of infections follows the next and the lockdown is being extended from month to month. Cafés, theatres and museums have not been open since autumn. Everything is closed. Everything? Oh no – one Berlin institution is bravely defying the pandemic and keeping its doors open to visitors: Berlin Zoo. All under strict precautions, of course, visitors must wear masks and be absolutely corona-proof. But it is open. And to make sure Berliners are aware of this, we made a short film with the pandas. At least the pandas had fun in the snow.
